Sekundarstufe I
In Sekundarstufe I (classes with students aged 10 to 16) all the foundations necessary for a good A-level exam are laid. During the transition phase from primary to secondary school, working techniques aiming at more student autonomy are introduced. Those supply a backing to the first larger academic written work, the Komplexe Leistung (KoL), at the end of Sekundarstufe I.
Because of the stretching of the school time, enough freedom for musical learning is provided. Lessons on the instrument and rehearsals partly take place in the morning.
Special timetables and own curricula apply to Sekundarstufe I.
