Main subjects

The lessons in the main musical subject form the core of the musical education and stand for an intense work on the instrument or the own voice. It is here that the foundations for the individual musical development are laid. The lessons are taught by professors and lecturers of the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber.

• Lessons per school year: 38 semester hours per week at 90 minutes each
• exams every term: technical exam in the first semester, repertoire exam in the second semester
